Trout n' About
SADS have acquired a stall at Trout n' About this year! It's on Sunday 3rd August 10am to 4pm, and we'll be positioned outside the Town Hall.
Because we like to dress up and be all theatrical, and because it's the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth, as a focus, it's been suggested we revisit Young Jane, our 2017 production of Austen's juvenilia.
We may have characters wandering around, chatting, enacting a scenario here and there and we may have a couple of performances from Young Jane at the stall.
And we'd also like people to help set up, clear away, be on the stall handing out leaflets and encouraging people to join our mailing list, inviting them to our first Great Company meeting, telling them about our Play in a Week and the upcoming production of Dying For It.
Play in a Week
Calling all 9 - 14 year olds!
SADS is collaborating with enact to present a Play in a Week Summer School. For 9 to 14 year olds to learn to act, make friends, have fun, build confidence, learn new skills and perform.
Taking place at Stockbridge Town Hall from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd August from 9am-4pm with the show on Friday at 7pm.
The price for each young actor to attend is £200.
